Bumps, Pushes & Hits

Physical objects and scripted physical objects hitting you, as well as avatars walking into you get displayed in the Bumps, Pushes & Hits floater.

  • Bumps can be accidental run ins where a user bumps you with their avatar. The counts can determine if the user is doing it over and over of course….
  • Hits are usually recorded when an object projectile has hit you, usually fired from a weapon or scripted object
  • Pushes are also used by a script or a weapon. The bullet or projectile can Push you miles in the sky or several sims over

Bumps, Pushes & Hits is a great tool to figure out who your “griefer” is, if you get hit or even caged, shot, orbited etc.
If they cage you it shows up here
For example: GriefingGrieferNoob57 hit you with a scripted object

  • Not every bump is griefing
Most Newbies really have some problems to move and have no idea it`s “unfriendly” to bump someone in SL.
Same if you teleport into a new area that uses a landing point and people will teleport in on your head or bump into you, it is not their intention.
  • Damage enabled land
On regions where Allow Damage is enabled, collisions (with objects, avatars, etc) aren't considered “mean” and hence aren't reported in Bumps, Pushes & Hits
